Hi my name is Stephen retired from the US Army after 28 years. This is what I did for the last 16 years of the Army. was stationed in NUE ULM Germany, we signed a treaty with Russia to do away with nuclear weapon system. And while taking it apart in 90/91 we went to Gulf war, so I went there as a tanker driver delivering fuel for tanks. It was a experience I'll never forget. Made alot of friends lost afew of my brothers in arms god bless them. After war went to Ft Bliss TX Learned about Stinger missle system, got restationed to Ft Drum NY. The 10th MTN DIV. Had a great time there , being close to canada got to do alot of site seeing with family. then after that went back to Ft Sill learned about MRLS mulitiple rockect launch system. while here at fort sill crazy mcbade blow up bldg in okc ok. so went into lock down for 24 hours. that was messed up. wife took a tour of it, but after me seeing the war camps in germany really did not have the heart to see it, I pray for those poor lost souls and there family members. Then it really happened they blow up twin towers so off again to the gulf I go. Then the Army **** up and gave us stop loss, I was tired of killing people and seeing my friends die it really started to ****. That part of the Army I really want to try and forget, except my friends I'll never forget them. Now finally I got too retire, But the ironing of it all is I pondered the idea of going back, so someone could take a break from the war. Sorry for being so long.
A proud salute to you! Thank you for your service!! Enjoy retirement.
