I wish all states would do something like this as i know that we vietnam vets are no really being recognised
i spent 2 years over there and feel as if i did it for nothing
GOD BLESS ALL OUR TROOPS FOR THEY KEEP OUR WORLD SAFE SO WE CAN RAISE OUR CHILDREN IN FREEDOM
I think Ca is doing a good thiing. My husband died from Agent Orange. On November 11 @ 1300 EST let off an orange balon for thos who have or died from Agent Oange. This will be the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Agent Orange Balloon Release. This i to recognize, remember & honor all the Veterans that have been affected by Agent Orange.
Jim was there for I believe 5 tours..or going for his 5th tour. I am new to this website with AARP and think it's great.
So if you belong to a Legion/VFW/DAV or just go to th VA Hospital please release the orange balloon at 1300 on 11/11. If you go to the website there will be a flyer you can print-hang up or give out.
What branch of he service were you in? Jim was Navy.
