hi tom and thanks for your reply and i feel what ever you have to say is great and you have the rights to your free opinion. and congradulations on your service in the war. as far as sniveling or reporting my group. thats fine with me and my group. to start with i flew the cambodian invasion one of the most deadly and scary missions in vietnam. as a door gunner crew chief. i recieved the silver star and i'm darn proud of it. as far as marines i had many good buddies in the nam in vietnam that were marines. i don't think any veterans is sniveling when they tell their story or have some one to seek the benefits they deserve and are deterred by the va. as far as getting what we asked for yes we all got what we asked for but as a brother veteran they have every right to complain and snifel.and when it come to the service we all fought our battles beit on the ground in the air or weather marine, navy, air force or army. i stand proud of them all and never compare a marine to the army or any other we all fought for the same service and same purpose. i cannot make out if your agreeing with this groups intentions or not. but when you say reoprt it do as you will if its meant in that context. this group is for all veterans and non veterans who support our efforts. nothing will sway us from that. so i'm hoping your with us and agreeing . if not then alls i can say is i'm sorry for your feelings and if it does bother you hearing others tell their stories or airing their feeling than i'm sorry. as far as aking for what we got. i can't disagree more. we did not ask for the years of waitnig for disibilities and other related issues. we did not asked to be killed those that were and left families back home. we did not ask for any of the wars . its washington and polotics tom not all the veterans. waht they are sniveling over is their right to do.so sorry if you feel offended if you spent many years in the marines and was a gunny sargent. i also was a drill instructor with the army. sometimes messages can get throug to people and they learn and really accilerate. with the hard corp issues. when i left the service as all veterans it was time to look for peace and settlement. not the roughness and don't show feelings attitude.one thing i feel is all veterans should hail one another as a group. because to turn a fellow veteran is a shame and one i will not ever do. no matter what the circuimstances.weather a cook in the war of a green baret all deserve their own field of honor for their service. i hope i didn't in any way offend you tom and yes i asked for it and you gave your opinion and i respect and admire your opinion but disagree on may issues. thanks tom and i really hope you stay around. we can use fighters like you in the future. but either way i also admire you and feel proud to know you and admire your marine gunny career.your brother veteran jim contarino / united veterans for rights
also i have an office i work out of on veterans behalf. not air conditioned and my face is right on my site. also i'm a much better with the knowledge of my military service. as far as whats in order. its exactly what i stae and thats to help all the veterans and advocate on their behalf and it offend any retired marine or army or any other than thats their problem to deal with because i'm more than ready to defend my group and all those who support it..
Jim - You would have to mighty start early in the morning to try to offend me. You still could not offend me.
I am happy you made it home Jim.
I have read * re-read & re - re - read the posts leading up to my opening the topic of Constitutional rights.
I am proud you are decorated for your bravery in combat. I am also.
I think if you go back to the postings about PORN in the ARMED FORCES and read forward then jump to the topic of CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS things will fall into place for you.
Have a good night Jim,
