Just my luck, my friend. I am a Ph.D. dropout. I actually know the origin of the letters ... they are family hand-me-downs. And virtually every genealogist of the region will probably find one family connection in the litany of names and places they contain.
I really do intend on having them donated to the appropriate archive once they are published.
So, I'm ready to thank you and agree that this is potentially a gold mine.
The problem I am most concerned about is -- Publishing on demand means I pay the costs, I do the marketing, I run from store to store trying to negotiate deals.
To me .... it's a time consuming and risky thought.
PS. Sorry this is such a LONG delayed reply.
Don't worry about the lenght of time I took you to reply. From here on out, the decision is all yours. Any self publishing is frought with risk. Consider all the ramifications of what you are about to do. Good luck and God bless
