Hi Jane se -
I had no trouble at all finding Golden Girls and joining it. Each time I come onto the site, it is less strange to me. I do think the other one was quicker to navigate though.
How was Jesus Christ Superstar? That has some powerful music in it. Are you a fan of stage musicals? I sure am. I love live theater. For the longest time, the only way to see them in L.A. was to go downtown, and the theater there is elegant, beautiful, etc. But also downright inconvenient and the parking is expensive and limited. Now we have smaller theaters all over the city area. We have season tickets to a series of four musicals a year at a wonderful and professionally topnotch theater ten minutes from our house. It is terrific! The next one we see is Miss Saigon and we are very curious to see how they handle the helicopter scene. We saw it downtown the first time it came to L.A. and loved it.
We had a lot of snow in Denver, and we enjoyed it since we don't get it here. Now it is actually warmer in Denver than it is here. Sure changed overnight. Are you still having snow? You have had quite a winter!
I'm glad to hear that the sight is getting easier for you to navigate. It still has it's little issues like just now I hit a key with my finger and it changed the size of my print. Had to change it back. I can't wait until the posts are numbered because when I get behind it makes it very hard to find the posting I'm answering.
"Jesus Christ Superstar" was wonderful. I'll write more about it on Golden Girls under the General topic so all the girls can read my thoughts on this great show. I love all musicals rather live or in film. I have a nice collection on DVD which includes "Jesus Christ Superstar" starring Ted Neely. The shows here aren't cheap either and parking was $10.00 but I don't go very often, in fact I'm lucky if I make it once a year. "Miss Saigon" sounds wonderful. When are you going? You'll have to let me know what you thought. "Evita" is coming here. I would love to see that one. I have the DVD with Madonna and I saw it twice at the movies. Loved it.
No more snow here. I hope no more anyway. The weatherman said he didn't think we would get any but we did have it on the 10th of May once.
Well, since this is about reading what are you reading these days? I'm still reading the same book "R is for Ricochet". Hope to have some more time to finish it after today.
