I knew I had the title wrong after I replied to you. I'm just getting old and my memory is shot.;-) I'm glad you like it.
My library doesn't have THE HEAT OF THE MOON. I don't think it would interest me as much as the second book from the reviews that I read on Amazon.
I'm still having a lot of trouble with the pollen down here. I have to wear a mask when I go outside and it still bothers me. I sure wish the stuff would go away. It's never made me feel this bad before. No point complaining anymore is there? Thanks for the sympathy though. At least it's not bothering my reading.
I noticed in your post to Katrinka that you mentioned Michael Connelly. I don't know why I have an aversion to his Bosch character, but I do! I really enjoy his "non-Bosch" stories, but that guy gives me the creeps! You'd think I'd met that man myself and didn't like to be reminded of the meeting. Sometimes characters are too real for comfort... Either that, or my imagination grabs onto sinister thoughts too long!
But speaking of characters, I truly love the way Sandra Parshall writes up her characters in Distubing the Dead. The mystery itself is very interesting, but her characterizations are outstanding. Perhaps I feel this was because I was brought up in that culture (Appalachia). The setting is so familiar to me.
Hope the allergies leave you soon!
