It appears that you aren't enjoying R is for Ricochet too much. Well, that's ok. Everyone can't like every series. And when there are so many in a series, some are bound to be better than others. I have never read anything by Janet Evanovich (I think that's right), so I thought I would try one and I found the main character to be so cutsie and flippant, I couldn't stand it. Carol Higgins Clark writes the same way so I stopped reading hers.
Yes, I have more than enough books. I seem to accumulate them faster than I read them. But I always see one more I think I have to have. It's a sickness!
I'm giving the computer a break for the weekend. I've been on it a lot lately doing various things.
It took me awhile but I finally finished "R is for Ricochet". It wasn't the greatest book I've ever read but I did enjoy the ending. I won't read anymore of Sue Grafton's books until I get her first book so I can start at the beginning. I don't care for the writings of Carol Higgins Clark either.
Like you I accumulate faster than reading but that's because I can't pass up a good deal. Another reason is that I keep a list of all the books by my favorite authors and if the books show up on the bargain shelf I have to buy them because I'm afraid they might not turn up again.
I don't know what I'll read next. I have to catch upon some magazines first. I also have to catch up on messages. I'm trying to watch Dancing With the Stars while answering messages. I wasn't on the computer much this weekend either. Had to give it a rest too. Sometimes we have to do other things like housework and laundry.
Have a great night.
