I don't know who recommended Sydney Bauer's Undertow, but I got the name on this site and it sounds like a good book to me.
Yes, that's a lot of library books I have on hand here, but that doesn't mean I'll read them all! I usually end up renewing about half of the books I've requested.
This morning I ordered The Moonpool from audible by P.T. Deutermann. I haven't read anything by this author yet and I'm not familiar with the narrator... This is always a risk a person takes, but that's life in the electronic world.
I like Deutermann's THE CAT DANCERS. Let me know how you like THE MOONPOOL. I'll probably read some more of his books.
I got a lot read yesterday because I sat at the vets with one of my cats for over two hours. Then I took my lady friend to and eye clinic and that was another hour of waiting. I don't mind waiting when I have a book to read. Most people just sit and stare or talk. It was so cramped and loud at the vets that it was hard to concentrate though.
I don't always have time to read all the books that I check out either but I read most of them.
I'm getting plenty cukes, tomatoes, squash, and peppers now that the tropical heat has set in here. It rained a lot for a change. My lawn was turning brown. Sure made the veggies look good.
