Yes, I've seen "Overboard" and maybe that's what I was thinking... who knows??? The mind isn't quite as sharp as it used to be! LOL
Have you finished the James Patterson book? I read that one also and thought it was good. I just started "The Golden Notebook" by Doris Lessing. It was first published in 1962 so it's not a new work. I'm on page 68 and so far I'm having a hard time with this one - not an easy read. I'll try a few more pages and see if I can get into the story before putting it aside and starting another one.
You sound like me.... I can't get out of a book store with less than an armload of books. I've never actually counted how many books I have at home, but I'm guessing close to 400. And yet, I still go to the bookstores and the library and I'm always looking for deals on Amazon. It's an obsession!
I did finish the James Patterson book and I'm now starting a book called "The Poyson Garden" by Karen Harper. It's an Elizabethan mystery taking place during the time of Anne Boleyn and the Tudor family. A bit of a change of pace for me. Seems interesting. How is "The Golden Notebook" coming? Are you still reading it or did you give up? If you're not enjoying it you should move on to another book. This advice has been given on occasion to me by my dear friend Edie.
You and I are both obsessed for sure. I've never counted mine either but I would say it's around the same. I know I have over 1000 DVD's and quite a number of CD's as well. With all my movies I still rent some and go to the show every week. What can I say?
