Last night I finished reading Steve Hamilton's Ice Run, which was full of wonderful snow!
I plan to start reading All My Patients are Under the Bed: Memoirs of a Cat Doctor by Dr. Louis J. Camuti. This is a small book, published in 1980; however, the print is very small, so I'm not sure I'll get through it.
Regarding today's temperatures in the 90s, here and there: Just think! This is one less hot day to get through this season!
I can't seem to get through COLD PURSUIT before falling asleep. It's not a bad book at all. It's just me. I take a couple of pills at night and I don't stay awake long enough to really read that much. I only have a few pages left so I'll knock them out when I take my midday siesta. I'm going to have to choose a book. I may try the one you said you wouldn't like. The post apocalyptic novel. If I don't like it I'll go back to the murder mystery.
I've spent way too much time and money with cat doctors to want to read about them.
It looks like we may get some rain and a little cooler temps soon. I hope so.
