No need to apologize as I know all about your vision issues. Today has been a dry but cool day. The high was suppose to get to 80 but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. We have rain in the forecast for the next four days which is not good news. There is a dam about a 30 minute drive from here that is ready to burst and also a river is threatening to go over a bridge in downtown Waukesha which is about 20 minutes away. I wouldn't want your heat either. I don't tolerate heat very well or humidity.
Are you enjoying "For Love"? I'm not doing much reading lately. I was going to read my book last night but got involved online and in reading my April issue of Smithsonian. I'm so behind. Anyway, I found an article called "My Kind of Town Boston, Massachusetts" by Claire Messud and I thought of you. Do you know her? She lives in Boston and is the best-selling author of "The Emperor's Children". If you haven't read it yet you may want to. Here is a website so you can check out the story and the review:

On what day will you leave for Niagara Falls and when will you return? I want to make sure I don't bombard you with messages while you are gone. I'm sorry to read that Maria won't be able to go along with you but I'm sure it's for the best. I know you are just looking out for her and you two will find some place to go together when you return. Are you reading any books on paper? I'm slowly getting through "The Poyson Garden". I really do like it but I just haven't had time to get into the plot.So much to do and so little time.~Janese
It is a gorgeous day here! For now, the heat and humidity are gone, the sky is a beautiful blue and there's a wonderful breeze coming from my window on over my right shoulder!
Thanks for telling me about Claire Messud's The Emperor's Children. Yes, I knew she was a native of Boston; there are many authors here; Sue Miller, author of For Love, also lives here.
I will only be gone 3 days and 2 nights on my trip to Niagara Falls, so I doubt that that is enough time for board message build-up!
On paper, I am reading Faye Kellerman's 14th mystery in her Decker/Lazarus series, Stone Kiss. She's as good as ever in this book.
Janese, I don't think you are "so bekind" in your reading at all! To be able to enjoy reading at our own pace is part of the whole literary experience and that's what makes you the great person you are, right now!
