Ah, yes, the weather! It has left the 90s and now we are in the mid-80s and it feels pretty good! Everything is relative. LOL
A farm stand opened (supposedly) in our town center today. But yesterday I had a lot of work to do in Boston, so today I’m resting and only doing laundry.
Faye Kellerman’s Stone Kiss is another winner, IMHO. This book is #14 in the Decker/Lazarus mystery series and I really think it is important to read the series in order because there is an underlying story that continues with each new book.
Yes.......it's much cooler here also, but still plenty hot.
I can name three authors off the top of my head that I want to read more. The Kellemans, Jeffry Deaver, and Michael Connelly. They all should probably be read in order and It's daunting to think about how many books that would be.
So I seem to only keep up with certain authors that I really like since I've already read their previous works. I keep up with Sandford, Burke, Hamilton, Parrish, Kerley, Greg Iles, Krueger, Jonathon King, Lisa Gardner, Stuart MacBride etc. and that usually keeps me pretty busy along with new authors that I run across. I'm now reading, or soon will be, two that I've never read before. It's good to have so many choices but kind of frustrating also because some of them take me so long. It's my fault and it's not because I don't like them but I only read novels in bed. and sometimes I actually sleep.
