Thanks for the tip about the Elvis Cole series by Robert Crais; I won't feel compulsive about reading the books in order.
I'm enjoying Sydney Bauer's Undertow. I find it a little amazing that, although she is Austrailian, she writes about the Boston area so knowingly. The book's jacket tells nothing about her connection to this area, like school, etc.
I don't think we've ever discussed Dennis LeHane's books. They're set in Boston mostly, I think. Someone told me about him several years ago and I read all his books in sequence. He wrote MYSTIC RIVER which I watched the movie made from it last weekend. It was a great movie. Sean Penn is a great actor. SHUTTER ISLAND was great also.
I requested DELUSION by Peter Abrahams yesterday just in case I don't like the English mysteries that I have now. I've never read a book by Abrahams that I didn't like. Some of his books are for juveniles and I don't read them. I didn't think that I'd like LAST OF THE DIXIE HEROES but I did.
spinner...................the font changes for no reason.........it's a little aggravating.
