You certainly did well getting 18 new books for "free" by selling your books and movies for even more!!
Of course we'll be wanting to hear a running report on what you read. Any special books in that purchase?
With only 60 pages to go in "The Poyson Garden," have you finally finished it by now? Are you sorry that you took all that time with that book??
Tell me more about your hubby's reactions to "The 3 Hour Diet" and if he follows it religiously. I'd like to hear some of his tips since it is working for him.
The main reason I get so much for my money is that the books only cost a $1.00 each. I won't pay more. Many of the books are on a list and I can't start reading them until I have all of the books in the series. Many of these authors write books in a series with a central character so they are best read in order.
I did finish "The Poyson Garden". I do kind of regret spending so much time on it. It was an okay book but I won't bother with the second one in that series. I'm now reading Nora Ephron's "I Feel Bad About My Neck and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman". It's only 135 pages and I have about 50 to go. Again, not a great book but I'll finish it since it's so short. I have to grab a good mystery next.
My hubby is not really on any type of diet. He just eats several times a day in small portions. He's been doing this for quite sometime. I call him a grazer. He also works out at the gym. Sometimes he goes in the fridge and just grabs a piece of thin sliced lunchmeat and that satisfies him.
