I started a Best Sellers List back in the '80s. I figured that once the book was older, it wouldn't be in such demand. Now they're so old that I can't find them in the library anymore.
Now when someone recommends a book to me and I think I'll like it, I find it on Amazon or Barnes & noble, and bookmark it in a folder called "Books to Read". Even that list is getting overwhelming. Every so often I look real hard at my lists and start eliminating some. I know I'll never be able to read them all. Even if I only read the new books which are published, I couldn't keep up. Ah well, I just think of them as a never-ending bunch of enjoyment.
Hi again, Nancy
Oh, how I have to agree with your, "Even if I only read the new books which are published, I couldn't keep up. Ah well, I just think of them as a never-ending bunch of enjoyment".
It's almost scary how many books I've accumulated (with such a large amount UNREAD) with hopes of "someday". But now I'm beginning to wonder how I'll ever get them read. Especially with new ones coming out by favorite authors all the time. There just aren't enough hours in the days.
