I like history in any form and any dilution. Saraha's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay was an eye opener for me. I have always heard about the French Underground. This novel brings to light the underbelly of the non-Jewish French during the early days of the occupation. Going back to Paris in May and will be looking for that plaque where the Velodrome use to be, a site that shame any Frenchman. This book led me to read Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky. Highly recommend both if you are a student of history or enjoy historically based novels.
