Oops, I forgot to add to tell your atty to set a reasoanable deadline with his atty for the list. Doesn't meet it, you get it all!!!
So far, he has agreed to most everything I have proposed...except the amount I estimated I would need to replace certain items (computer, TV, some furniture, etc.) But, I need to take your advice and get it in writing as soon as we come to a final agreement.
He and/or his attorney haven't gotten the papers in that my attorney asked for, so she has asked the court for a pre-trial. As I understand it now, at the pre-trial, the judge asks each side for needed paperwork. If it isn't there, he/she orders it in by a certain date.
It's a shame that we have to go that route, though. It's going to cost us both extra money to take this issue to court.
(I have already packed away some things that I have special attachments to and that I am sure he won't even remember).
Thanks for the advice!!!
