Hello everyone. I am 57 years old and in my first semester of "big people school"! I find myself there because of unemployment and the fact that I can't find a job other than minumum wage service work. There's nothing wrong with that but I need to be able to make a decent living so that maybe when I'm 80 I can actually think about retiring! I have to write a research paper and I have chosen "Hiring the Older Worker" or "Not Retiring the Boomer on Your Staff", something along those lines. Of course, I have taken the pro-senior stand. Does anyone out there have any in-put, or perhaps can direct me to some good source material. To those of you out there that have returned to school at this age, did you find it difficult? Any feedback will be graciously appriciated.
