Yes, I have the 2008 Italy book by Rick but there is so much info that sometimes referrals mean more to me. I guess you can see by the date that this has been an ongoing plan for two years. I think it may happen this year.
I did the walk in Cinque Terra Named for the five towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore, this rugged coastal portion of the Italian Riviera is so beautiful. Since cars are not allowed, the only access to Cinque Terre is by local trains, by ferry or by walking along the spectacular trails that connect the towns. The pace is wonderfully slow here, with swimming, hiking, beach-going, dining and exploring the magnificent old villages the main pastimes. One of the best times in my life.
