Hi - No, I have received few replies, which surprises me. I was expecting to get more replies because I feel sure there is a lot of experience out there! I did get Mabel Hoffman's crockpot recipe book out of the library, though. One person had said it was an especially good resource. Hmm - got any ideas about how to get more recipes? Maybe it seemed like silly question to some, but I have learned more in life on the premise that there are no "dumb" questions. Got any ideas? Thanks for asking www.aarp.org/community/editor/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/regular_smile.gif" alt="" /> - Aunt Genie
Yes, I suggested that book. I have since given it to my daughter-in-law because they are so busy it's nice to plug in the slow cooker and come home at 5:00 to a ready-made home cooked meal. I would go with just dividing the original recipe. So if it says,"Serves 6" divide by 3 and adjust ingredients. This way you get a meal and one left-over meal.
Also, try googling CROCK POT RECIPES FOR TWO. I just googled it and got about 6 different site hits. One is even a Campbell's site so you know the ingredients will be easy to find!
