I have my granddaughter's living with me and have been homeschooling them so I generally cook full meals. However, today they are gone and I took out four chicken drumsticks. I plan to fry them and then make gravy and rice. I love allowing the chicken to get totally saturated by the gravy at a slow temperature on the stove. When I fry I stil use flour as a coating/batter, and, use less in preparing the gravy. Since ther is only me, I do not like preparing a whole can of veggies, because, they will be wasted. So I will propbably opt for one piece of corn on the cob popped into the microwave in a dish for that purpose.
