I have got to try these. I never knew exactly what a crumpet was, but it always sounded good. I love the recipe--using the yeast and the soda--the recipe reminds me of Russian blini or even some southern biscuit recipes. I am not sure if I am up to making a crumpet ring. I wonder if these are for sale at kitchen place, on line. I might just use my smallest frying pan, for now.
