Single does not mean you are not a family. I cook great meals for myself. I not only cook great meals I set the table. There are recipes for quick, delicious and nutritious meals that do not require spending a lifetime over a hot stove. Think about preparing some healthy salads.
Stop with the assorted cans and the microwave cuisine! Don't get me wrong I open a can or have a frozen dinner from time to time. ONLY if I am extremely exhausted and do not have the physical strength to cook a delicious hot meal. I don't like even picking something up at a restaurant and bringing it home. I love my own food. Here are two meals you might like to start with. One is quick, hot and delicious. The other is a salad.
Tri-Color Pasta Salad
Cook pasta( al dente-firm.)
Let it cool, then season to taste.
Mix in a package of mixed salad and stir. Use your choice of salad dressings.
*Optional. You can bake a piece of fish or chicken to go with it. You may choose to make chicken or fish chunks and stir them into the salad.
Vegetarian Turkey Spaghetti (Okay I like turkey. It's optional.)
Cook spaghetti (al dente-firm)
Cook ground turkey seasoning to taste. You can make meatballs or simply add the cooked turkey (chopped up) to the spaghetti.
Add your favorite tomato sauce. I use Ragu Chunky Primavera , it's loaded with huge chunks of vegetables.
Bon a Petit !!!!
