Who's going? Oh brother, am I ever!
If you're in the area, you MUST go to Noir City, San Francisco's annual film noir extravaganza at the Castro Theatre. Tickets are only $10 per double feature -- yeah, you heard me -- TEN DOLLARS!
This year they're featuring new 35mm prints of:
- High Wall (1947)
- Stranger on the Third Floor (1940)
- Strangers in the Night (1944)
- Gaslight (1944)
- A Double Life (1947)
- Loophole (1954)
- Secret Beyond the Door (1948)
- The Hunted (1948)
And a host of other films not available on DVD. Check the schedule and eat your heart out.
Oh and did I mention Don't Bother to Knock (1952)? That film scared the pants off me when I caught it on the late late show in the late 80s. Marilyn Monroe as a spooky babysitter.
Please don't miss it!
