If you don't have prescription drug insurance or a government program to pay for your prescriptions, you should definitely get one of the downloadable free cards at www.myfreeprescriptiondiscountcard.com. They are widely accepted throughout the US, and get a discount for prescription drugs. Just print one out (no need to provide any information), and present it to the pharmacist when buying a prescription.
Sounds good. But there is another alternative. The drug companies that make your meds can and will assist in you getting what you need. It will have to be coordinated with your doctor though. Sometimes can be mailed to you or sent to the doctors office depending on what it is. I have gone this route before and it really helped. You do have to put in some leg work; Get the name and number to the company, call and they will send out forms to be filled in by you and physician. Doesn't hurt to try.
