Hey is any one out there knowledgable about motor home electric stuff. Here is the problem: We have ac power to the coach, the charger is charging the battries, but none of the ac outlets work and neither does the Microwave. We have checked all the breakers, all the fuses, checked the inverter, and the plug in in the bathroom that has a breaker on it and some times shuts off. Every thing seems normal but the only time we can get ac is if we turn on the inverter and then the ac stuff works. Every thing was working normal on Sunday when we came home and when I went out for something last night all ac was off. Any suggestions before we take it to a repair shop??
The system should have a bypass. That bypass should have a fuse or circuit braker. Check there. If the system worked before, but doesn't now, that should be the problem. If this RV is new to you, (since I'm new here), it could be that everything is functioning correctly, and there is no bypass. (that would be strange though.)
There might be a separate AC plug in to bring power directly to the outlets.
