I make a lot of my own mixes and cleaners which saves a lot of money. A good web site to get the recipes for Bisquik, Shake and Bake, taco seasoning mix, vanilla extract, windex, laundry detergent, and a whole bunch more is at Budget101.com
Also here are the names of my favorite books which are filled with great money saving tips. If your library doesn't have them, they can order it in for you.
"The Complete Tightwad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn" and "Stories and Recipes of the Great Depression of the 1930's by Rita Van Amber.
I find that it helps substantially if I eat before I go shopping in a supermarket, in addition to have a list.
