I just put $50 of gas into my car this morning....first time I had to shell out that much for a fill up. Here's a web site where you can check the gas prices in your neighborhood to shop around for lower (if there is such a thing) prices. http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx?zip=&src=Netx. Just don't waste gas driving too far out of your way to save a penny or two per gallon.
Friends have sent these links before, but I wonder if some oil companies pay to be listed. The 2 Valero stations closest to me, which consistently have the lowest gas prices, aren't listed on autos.msn.com, and GasBuddy didn't list any gas stations for my zip code, although every major brand & a couple of non-name gas stations have a presence in the zip code!
Unless someone is driving in an unfamiliar area, and wants to know where there are some gas stations, I think it's better to just pay attention to prices as you're driving thru your neighborhood.
