I'm doing all that I know how to do to "grow" my own. Have added chickens, putting in fruit trees, thinking about pygmy milk goats. And have been offered piglets at $25.00.
There is much I have to learn, like exactly WHERE I can get the pigs butchered. How much it actually costs to feed them for the year.
I'm turning my 2.5 acres into a self sustainable homestead. The less I have to drive to town the more smug I become.
