I bought 2 large leeks last week, trimmed them as one is supposed to do, and used some of the leeks in a recipe.
I have quite a bit left over. Could I steam and freeze the rest? Or just freeze it uncooked? I realize it will thaw mushy, but I figure to use it in soups, stews, and casseroles at a later date. Would this be ok, do you think?
Thanks, (I should have paid closer attention to MOM......! )
Thanks to everyone for the responses!
