Ham Cheese Pie
Another quick and easy recipe... This is a great way to use up your left over Holiday ham.
2 cups cubed ham (I have used turkey ham for this also)
2 cups cubed cheese ( I usually use monterey jack )
2 rolls of Pillsbury crescent rolls
Cube the ham and cheese and set aside. Open crescent rolls and put flat between 2 pieces of wax paper and roll it out to the size to fit a pie pan. Take off top layer of wax paper and set it aside to use again. Flip over and release into ungreased pie pan. Take other roll of crescent and roll out again. Put ham and cheese onto dish and cover with the 2 beaten eggs. Cut the other crescent rolls into 3/4 strips for the top of the pie. Put strips over top of pie in 2 directions, twisting(curling) the strips as you cover the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Take out and let it rest for 5 minutes. Cut into pie slices and enjoy.
You may add broccoli or cauliflower into the pie also, but try without first.....
Yummy ... I say this recipe this morning .All ready had everything I needed to make it .The house warmed up and it smelled great cooking.I even added a little onion and crumbed bacon.
