750g minced beef
1 red onion finely chopped
1 red pepper finely chopped
2 tablespoons tomatoe ketchup
5 sundried tomatoes, chopped
1 egg yolk, whisked
2 tablespoons flat leaf parsley,chopped
2 cloves garlic,crushed
salt and fresh ground pepper
simply mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. divide the mixture into four and shape into 10cm wide discs.
you can do this by hand or with a metal pastry cutter.
dry fry the burgers in a non stick frying pan on a high heat for a few seconds on each side (i find this seal in the moisture) then transfer to a preheated oven at 170 degrees centigrade and bake for 5-8 minutes depending on how well done you want them.
