Years ago, when my children were young, we had a next door neighbor with a wonderful screened in porch. In the summer we would be invited over and our host served the best Whiskey Sours. I finally found out the secret, and they are so easy to make:
1 small frozen can of lemonade concentrate (he'd use pink lemonade)
Emty the can ingredients into the blender and fill the can with the whiskey (or liquor of your choice, I suppose) and add that to the blender.
Add a bunch of crushed ice cubes and whir away.
They are delicious, really not to alcohol-y, and really hit the spot on a warm summer evening.
I like your daiquiri recipe. I imagine that you could add fruit like strawberries or bananas to it, and if I ever find the space in my freezer to store a gallon of anything, I'll try it! LOL
Thanks for the Whiskey Sour recipe. I need this one, because someone left a 5th of whiskey at our house and I can't seem to do anything with it. Now I can serve up Whiskey Sours like a pro!
