I was wandering around the internet and stumbled upon recipes for Superbowl Sunday. One recipe titled "Scrumptious 'Big Daddy 's' Superbowl Finger Chicken" found me interested enough to see what was in this stuff. The very first item for the recipe called for 1 pound of chicken tenderloins. Well, here I am "of a certain age" and I've never heard of Chicken Tenderloins. Have I missed something? Did Tyson come up with chickens strutting around with big rear-ends and humps on their backs? Are these chickens "with tenderloins" hand fed and massaged like that Kobi beef in Japan? How would one train for chicken massages. Would your title be Chicken Masseuse? Would you have to go to Chicken Masseuse school?
If someone could send a picture of a chicken with "terderloins" I would love to see it. Or, if anyone has tasted a chicken tenderloin, please let me know how it was fixed. Grilled, fried or sushi?
Genespark is exactly right. Our local Costco sells chicken tenders (tenderloins) frozen in a 5 pound bag . I never purchase them because I can do the same with a regular chicken breast. If I'm making chicken fingers, I cut a chicken breast into strips...works great for me!
