Yup, it's officially here. I guess it's a celebration. Am trying to make it be, anyway. The last time I felt this way was when I went from 29 to 30. Am happy to be celebrating the same day as Earth Day. That does make it special for me. Plan to work in the yard and be with a friend for lunch.
Happy Earth Day everyone!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I believe when we become another year older, we become another year wiser! I'll be your age in September, and don't think of 70 as old!
I remember at the age of 19, I had a crush on an older man of 33! Of course when we were young, we thought that even our Grandparents were old, but now that I'm a Grandma, I know this is not so.
Then too, as we age so are our contemporaries and if you've ever gone to a class reunion, you will find that everyone ages in a different rate!.
So perhaps age should not be measured in chronological years, instead it should be based on ones attitude, disposition, and of course health does come into play!
Someone told me that when we hit 70 we should start counting backwards for how many people are younger than yourself, but old in attitude, and vice versa. It truly depends upon the individual, and what is your take on this? Again, all my very best wishes "Birthday Girl" and Happy Earth Day too! Celebrate big time! Shelby
