Geez!...I thought you were me for a moment!.....I too was lucky enough to be a teenager in 1960 and expierence the doo-**** days, surf music, British Invasion and on thru the 60s, the best period of pop music ever!....I was made to go home and change my clothes in my Junior year because I had on a Beatles lapeless sport coat and my hair touched the back of my collar and that was a no-no. "She Love's You" by the Beatles is my all-time favorite song and I can remember sitting on my front porch and dialing in the NY stations that were playing Beatles songs way before anyone and I lived in the suburbs of Boston. I went to see the Beatles at Suffolk Downs Race Track and paid $7.00 for my ticket, sat in the top row and barley heard a note they played in thier 30 minute set as the girls screamed so loud. In those days bands did not have the sophisticated sound systems they do today so the sound did not carry. I then went to see the Dave Clark 5 in Boston and sat in the 2nd row and my picture ended up on the cover of the "American Tour" album that came out several months later. It all spurred me on to a band of my own [drummer] , and a career in the music business that I am still in today. My favorite era to create new projects for is still the 50's and 60s....Long Live Rock & Roll !..........Reddog19

I mentioned this on another topic, You probably already know this but if you get the German version of she loves you on the beatles rarity album you can isolate the voice from the instruments and vice versa with the speakers. If you haven"t done this you have to try it. You wont believe how incredible they sound.
I'm not sure if this UTUBE version will work I can't separate the speakers on my computer.
"Sie Lieb Dich"
Another song I found incredible was I dig a pony the second verse where paul messes up and john covers it up, they were so great together.
