In Response to Re: Round Robin Project:
Earlier this month, I posted a poll regarding the scheduled Round Robin project for August. We really do need to know if anyone is planing on paticiptaing in this project because if there is no interest, I'm not going to spend the time coming up with the guidelines for it.
For those of you that are new, a Round Robin starts out with a center block each person completes and mails to the next person on the participants list. Along with your block you'll send some material that you want incorporated in your quilt top, and a completed questionaire describing the overall size desired, any color specificatons, etc. The person who receives the center block has up to 3 weeks to develop and sew on a border using some of the owners fabric, but mostly fabric of their own. On or before a set date, the new creation is sent to the next person on the list and the process repeats itself. Eventually you get your block back but now it is an entire quilt top ready for you to back, quilt and bind.
These are very fun projects, exciting because it tests your creativity and you just never know how your quilt top is going to turn out.
I appreciate your letting me know if you're planning on playing along.
