When you pull any muscle it will have to heal - and you can't force a muscle to heal.
If you put ice on it to the point of freezing it - then you can gently stretch it providing the ice has caused the pain to subside greatly - never mussage a muscle till the pain has gone to prevent further injury.
If ice is not doing it then switch to ice-hot and apply it liberally - let the muscle rest till a majority of pain is gone. Once the pain is tolerable - first apply ice-hot and then gently message the muscle - keep putting on ice-hot till you can feel the heat - I use ice-hot all the time and it works - do not exercise that muscle till almost all pain is gone and then very lightly.
A muscle that is not allowed to heal will only be reinjured and never get better.
