Thank you for your thoughtful response. You are so right and right on target. I believed after the first month of NS that I knew what to do, and clearly I can do it, but it was so easy with all I was juggling, to just reach on the shelf and choose a meal. Problem is, every day is not the same in terms of our needs, on more than one level. Right?
So, the 'plan' only works while you are 'stuck' to the regimen. I did not plan for backup choices like fruit and finger vegees daily at my work desk, or when I was shopping.
But I can 'learn'. :)
I'm doing better now, and I have lost the five pounds. Last paper turned in, and looking at the Final Exam. Only nine more hours to go... and I am free to walk every day, and start working in my flower beds again. Yippee! That should surely burn some calories.
