I love to walk at a very fast pace, and I am a morning person except for exercise. If I have the day off from work, I will go out about mid-morning. Otherwise, I will do it immediately after work on week days and I just pick a time of day on Saturday and Sunday. I get my longest and best work outs done on weekends. I do a nice 8 mile walk at a pretty good pace (about 14 min. mile). The key is to make some kind of exercise a priority for you, just like brushing your teeth and bathing. Your body will thank you for it. Like someone else said, I actually have to put my exercise time on my calendar along with all the other important appointments.
Just Do It!!! That's my motto.
Wow -- 8 miles is great. I will have to work towards that.
