Exercise 2: Set goals.
Goal 1: Lose 50 pounds. I will accomplish this by walking every day, starting with 10 minutes/day. Some days I will be able to walk more (and also as I progress). I can walk 30 minutes now but I get very weak and it is hard to lift my legs after 20 minutes so I need to build up to 30 minutes. The weakness is due to my MS.
Goal 2: Sleep 7-8 hours/night. I will accomplish this by keeping a journal so I can recognize patterns I can change myself to sleep better.
Goal 3: Increase my intake of vegetables and fruits from 0-1 day (really bad!) to 5 per day. I will read about easy ways to introduce vegetables and fruits into my life cheaply. With a tight budget, I have just given up eating as healthy as I want to. This will be my opportunity to learn new ways to eat well within my budget.
To be reminded, I put a reoccurring event into my phone planner so every morning the alarm goes off to remind me to do my goals that day.
