I was searching on Google this morning looking for ways to reinvent myself from a health perspective, and came across this program. I am a member of AARP and thought it is worth a try. I am 56 years old and weigh more than I ever had. A couple of years ago, I frequented the gym and was even on a team for a 90-day challenge. At the end of the challenge (our team won) I hurt my back and was unable to go to the gym. When my back was almost healed, I fell and sprained my ankle and tore some ligaments. This took six months to heal, which slowed me down further. At the beginning of the year, I was ready to get going on working out again, and fell and broke my arm. It was a very serious brake that required surgery. Now my arm is healed (it took a long time), I am determined to get back on track. The last two years killed me and now I am struggling with getting back on track with working out and losing weight. I would like to lose around 50 pounds to be back at my normal, active weight. Maybe even more if possible. What is the best waya to get started? Is there a manual? I am concerned because it looks like these posts are all in 2012. Is the program now over?
