Karen, it is said by some that words fail us at a time such has losing a life partner, a parent, a child, or a close friend.
But there are others who suggest that using words can offer a way to cope with and help us to reach an acceptance of our loss. One such way is to write a eulogy or what could also be called a tribute or remembrance. It is what I did at the loss of my daughter, Rose, and reading it seven years later is still helpful. I did not deliver ithe eulogy at the service but it was posted here as a blog and sent to family and friends.
