My darling granddaughter, knowing that I love movies, gave me a six month membership to Netflix as a Christmas present!!
So far I have rented 'Mother and Child' and 'The Boy in Striped Pajamas', both excellent fillms. Today I mail back the latter and should get 'Letters to Juliet' by Monday. I have 'The Lemon Tree' and a few others in queue.
What I would like to ask all of you is.......can you give me some ideas on movies that I shouldn't miss? I intend to get my granddaughter's moneys worth by getting as many movies as I can in six months!
I kept 'The Boy in Striped Pajamas' too long. I kept wondering why I was avoiding watching it, then realized that I needed to be up for the subject matter. I had the same problem with 'Schindler's List'. Wanted so much to see it, but needed to be ready to deal with it emotionally. Do other people ever feel this way?
Anyhow, thanks in advance (TIA to the social network croud!!). I'm looking forward to your suggestions.
