Dear Jane, I was on your chat, and frankly I just had to speak up. It's all fine and good to be talking with SCORE (an excellent organization) but prior to that step most women have no idea how to do a restart or start a business. It's mainly confidence and courage. And that takes some inner work, lots of research, networking and really reinventing yourself anew. I work with women who are 50 and up - I used to think that confidence was accumulative, particular as we are usually thought of as mature. Not so. The women I meet need to become empowered, practice courage and confidence and develop a new mindset about themselves in order to even think of a career or a calling. NO EASY EXPERIENCE!!!! Trust me.
I'm traveling to the MORE Magazine Reinvention Convention on May 17th, for an all day experience with fabulous speakers. It will be held in Chicago, it has already been in Washington DC and NYC.
I will have the opportunity to speak with womern who are starting new innovative approaches to increased income, personal fulfillment, and the opportunity to be living my dream of bringing light, energy, and empowerment to women, which is my calling at 73 years of age.
You acknowledged me in the chat immediately. I appreciated your sensitivity to the road most womern have to take to bring their dreams to life after a certain age.
As I will already be in Chicago for the Convention (I live in Walnut Creek California) I would like to be the 'Eyes and Ears' for your next shows as I will be seeing and talking with women from all over the country who are involved in reinventing themselves. My thought is to interview some of these women perhaps using a Flip Video and bringing these very interesting women and their ideas as part of a show on Reinvention.
I'm a Reinvention and Age Transition Specialist in California, I do one on one coaching with women throughout the country and travel for speaking engagments for organizations and companies speaking to women's needs in these very uncertain times.
I am 73 years old, I've had three of my articles on the MORE Magagzine website. My website is www.patriciaweaver.net. I'm extremely good looking and act as a inspiration to mature women to value themselves and to share their knowledge in a very exciting manner and create for themselves a new and fulfilling life no matter what their age.
I am leaving for Chicago on May 13th so anything we decide or need to firm up about my representing your show at the convention will need to put on fast forward. My personal telephone number is 925/938-4388 pst. I''m available to come to New York prior to the event if necessary but I feel most everything can be handled by phone and email.
This is a one in a lifetime opportunity to see women from all over our country bringing forth their best to share, bringing light and energy, courage and confidence to all of us.
