I was terminated from a job very recently. I look it as a gift from the Universe. I didn't like the people I worked with and the position had became stagnant with no avenue of advancement. I don't know why but I was dragging my feet to look for another dead-end job. So, I am using this as an opportunity to reinvent myself. I am taking the time to perform some healing work as well as assessing my skills. I really do not want to work in a conventional job again. At 58 I feel some pressure to make lot's of money although I have no illusions about being able to retire. People in our age group that are healthy will be able to work well into their 80s. And why not? If you are doing something you love, it will be easy. Look at entertainers who are in their 70s and 80s, they are doing something they love. Do what you love and it will energize you and keep you young. Simplify your life. Figure out how to live simply as possible. We are too materialistic these days, so, down size. Do you really need a big house? I share a home with my mother, we live pretty simply. This will enable me to do take some time to build income by doing things that I enjoy and the reward will benefit me directly. Every individual has a right to be successful. Make your dreams come true. You own them. What are you doing to make your self happy today?
