I have suffered with chronic pain since my back injury in 1993, Ive been to several specialist and doctors , when I wqas in the hospital on another matter I was seen by a young MD who took me on as new patient and had me on high dose Kadian for almost 2yrs then without so much as a word from him his med office droped as a patient he did not rerturn any of my phone calls he left me to detox on my own, thank goodness for my friends doctor he help get me off the morphine , but now I'm back to where I cant move or sit or sleep without severe pain, and other doctors in our area will not treat with pain medication, and so it goes day to day fight the pain with my mind as much aqs I can and suffer the rest of the time . I heard of a study in Canada where doctors are using poison from blow fish as a nerve blockerand our having a great success, without side effects and addiction problems, I just hope that when this drug is available drs. here will use it
