Since you failed to either check the website I posted or give credible urls for your idea, your posts is simple one of those claims you mentioned that are everywhere on the web AND it appears that you are not interested in verifing your own claim.
I searched first on 'global warming' and after going through 60 urls did not find a single one claiming that it's fiction. Just now I searched for the European Space Agency and found: http://www.esa.int/esaCP/SEMCKXOSAKF_index_O,html that may not be totally accurate since I could get the paste action to work, but you can get to http://www.esa.int and find the link to their article 'Arctic Ice on the verge of another all time low'.
That page is an August 28, 2008 article and includes a report by a Prof. Heinrich Miller from the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Bremerhaven, German. Near the end is found: Regarding the use of satellite data or polar research Miller continues, "The polar regions, especially the Artic, are very sensitive indicators of climate change. 'The UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has shown that these regions are highly vulnerable to rising temperatures and predicted that the Arctic would be virtually ice-free in the summer months by 2070. Other scientists claim it could become ice-free as early as 2040. Latest satellite observations suggest that the Arctic could be manly ice-free even earlier."
Apparently the European Space Agency has reversed their earlier position on global warming.
August has been the first spotless month on the sun in more than a century.
In the past 1000 years, three previous such events -- the Dalton, Maunder, and Spörer Minimums, have all led to rapid cooling. On was large enough to be called a "mini ice age". For a society dependent on agriculture, cold is more damaging than heat. The growing season shortens, yields drop, and the occurrence of crop-destroying frosts increases.
One more nail in the coffin of the New Castrati.
