Thank you for your response. I, too, think this is an important issue. Sex is an important part of life, and for many it still is even through our later years. I haven't used the creams, but tried the VagiFem which is a suppository. But it did not work at all, so I went back on the ClimaraPro Patch. From what I read recently, the patch does not pose a risk for clots. At least, that is the report for this week. It seems to change every other week!
Thanks to everyone for their input and to you for asking the questions. I have to see the doctor in August and have been thinking about bringing up this topic. With your post and others' suggestions, I will approach her about the differences. Please keep asking the questions. At our age we have particularly no one to ask or they think we're too old:) I've been married 45 years and sex has always been a big part of our life. My husband has a pill to take which helps greatly but what about women??? And that is the real problem: "for this week". I do know what my body needs and know if it will work. Why can't they believe us?? Keep smiling.....
