Hello Gang, I've been retired for five years in the Indianapolis area and have tried several things as far as jobs go. The best one I had was as a part-time grounds keeper for a large Co warehouse. I spent twenty hours per week riding around in an electric golf-cart wtih a large trash can on the back, and I would sweep vacant spots along the truck-docks and pick up trash along the front lawn thrown out by passing motorists. Oh yeah, we have a steady stream of that here in "Bubbahville". But that job got hit by budget cuts, and now that warehouse looks just about as trashy as the other industrial sites next to it. My teacher's pension is really good, making almost as much as I was before I retired but everything has gone up so much. My home business is paying for my car payment and so many tax advantages for income tax. If I could find a one day or two day a week job that I didn't have to stand all the time I might consider it, but ...
